Bakewell Baking Festival

The World’s first Baking Festival is back for its 4th year at the Spiritual Home of Baking so join us for a great Family Friendly Quirky weekend celebration of baking, vintage, music and good old family fun, with on site camping and Parking all set against the glorious backdrop of the Peak District National Park. This years festival theme is World Baking and we’ve got an amazing lineup of Star Bakers including, GBBO Winners John Whaite and Edd Kimber, Cookery Legend - Sophie Grigson, Masterchef Finalist - Stacie Stewart, GBBO Favourite - Howard Middleton and Cake Decorating Sensation - Molly Robbins along with many more great bakers TBC … (see website for timings). You can see them all in our 2 new and enlarged baking demonstration theaters, alongside our children’s baking zone with free gingerbread decorating. Other festivities include a Live Music Stage with Afternoon Tea Dances, Brass Band, Vintage 78 DJ’s, Mr Darcy Custard Pie Fight, Baking Competitions, Vintage Games, Vintage Car display, Comedy Night, and over 70 exhibitors showcasing some of the UK’s best food and drink producers.
