BL9 Weekender
The BL9 Weekender is a new festival for Manchester boasting a varied line-up up of iconic music names, past an present. Held at Bury FC’s stadium on, fittingly enough, Gigg Lane, the event features the likes of Happy Mondays, Peter Hook and the Light, No Hot Ashes, Razorlight, Diversity, Coolio, Amelia Lily, The Hoosiers, Pacific and more. Tickets (usually £35, plus £4.89 fees) are available to a choice of day, with Saturday’s shows for over 18’s, and Sunday aimed at anyone over the age of 11 years old.
