Chorley Flower Show
This July Astley Park hosts two days of family-friendly entertainment in full blossom, inviting all generations. The event will see professional exhibitors and celebrity gardeners Carol Klein and Adam Frost impart smart tips, while a wide array of trade stands will sell garden essentials. Visitors will be able to admire the permanent Garden of Reflection created by John Everiss, as well as floral displays adorning the Grade I listed Astley Hall. While the amateur marquee will host a regional competition brought to Chorley by the National Sweet Pea Society and Rose Society UK, families will enjoy a leisurely picnic marked by horticultural demonstrations, kids activities, food stalls and music.
