Christmas Kingston Lacy
The magic is back at the National Trust’s Kingston Lacy near Wimborne, Dorset. Over a million twinkling lights and seasonal sounds will fill the air with festive fun.
Look forward to some time together with friends and family as you discover sparkling tunnels of light, then walk under giant baubles and beneath glistening trees drenched in jewel-like colour. For a moment of reflection pause at mesmerising flickering flames in the fire garden, gaze at the larger-than-life illuminations and, to make a moment to remember, don’t forget to glimpse Father Christmas along the way.

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are not permitted on the trail, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs.What should I wear?
Please dress warm for winter weather and wear suitable footwear.Is Christmas at Kingston Lacy accessible for wheelchair users?
The trail is accessible but we advise against the use of wheelchairs with smaller wheels. Unfortunately mobility scooters and wheel chairs are not available to hire on the night. We would recommend you bring your own battery powered mobility scooters or off road wheel chairs. The trail is a mixture of tarmac and a loose stone and gravel mix, there are also no steps on the trail but the terrain includes a long gradual slope. Due to the natural landscape the trail includes some gradual slopes and paths can be uneven in places. Wheelchairs are accommodated but discretion is needed as the trail may not be suitable for all. Wherever possible stewards will assist but this cannot be guaranteed.Can I bring my mobility scooter/wheelchair or can they be provided?
Mobility scooters/Wheelchairs will not be available on site, though you are welcome to bring your own. If you are bringing a mobility scooter please ensure it is fully charged prior to your visit.How long is the trail at Christmas at Kingston Lacy?

As Christmas at Kingston Lacy is an outdoor trail, if the weather presents a hazard and a risk to safety, any decision to cancel the trail will be taken by 2pm on the day of the trail.
