Ladies Evening

Join us for the Fontwell Ladies Evening 2023, touted as the most stylish day of the year. The event aims to provide an unforgettable experience at the races, with a plethora of stunning outfits and sensational hats on display. The date to remember is Thursday 24th August when Ladies Evening returns to Fontwell Park, promising an evening filled with racing, glitz, glamour, and plenty of fizz at the beautiful Sussex racecourse. Beyond the excitement of the races, attendees can indulge in the British summertime ambiance while sipping refreshing drinks and witnessing the horses dash by. As the night draws near, the racecourse comes alive with a live DJ set playing iconic tunes from the '80s, '90s, and '00s, ensuring an epic evening of post-racing entertainment.

Getting There

Shuttle Bus

• The shuttle bus will be operating from Barnham Railway Station to Fontwell Park for gates opening up until the time of the first race and will recommence from the penultimate race until 30 minutes after the last race.

Bus

• The Stagecoach 500 bus operates from Littlehampton - Chichester. The bus arrives and departs from Fontwell Roundabout, a few minutes walk from the racecourse.

Car

• Fontwell Park is situated on the A27/A29 roundabout between Chichester and Arundel. Access to our main car park on race days is from Fontwell Avenue (A29 towards Bognor Regis), the entrance is 300 yards from the roundabout on the right-hand side.
