Foodies Festival Christmas

The Foodies Christmas Festival brings an array of seasonal culinary treats to Brick Lane this November. The Aga Rangemaster Chefs Theatre sees some of London’s top cooking talent show off their skills, with visitors able to pick up a variety of tips for putting together their own Christmas feast, while the Artisan Christmas Market provides all the produce needed for the festive period, including the likes of mince pies, mulled wine, marzipan bonbons, and macaroons. Guests will be able to go back in time to the 1960s and try some of the retro recipes prepared by such acclaimed chefs as Adam Simmonds, Dhruv Baker, and Jesse Dunford Wood, among others. An array of street food vendors will also be offering all sorts of gastronomic delights including vegan and gluten-free options. Drink is also covered, with a Gin Theatre and Champagne Ski Bar, along with Christmas cocktail-making masterclasses in the Drinks Theatre. Little ones are not forgotten, with the Elf Cookery School giving children the chance to bake snowballs, gingerbread men and other treats. Those looking to take a break from all the food and drink can take part in the Christmas Bumper Quiz, take a Christmas jumper picture in the photo booth, sing carols, and get their groove on to live music. There will be also a winter version of a chilly-eating competition for all chilly lovers.
