Bakewell Baking Festival
The annual Bakewell Baking Festival brings together a cornucopia of sweet treats across two dates this August. Surrounded by the vintage ambience of the town of Bakewell, the whimsical garden party celebrates baking, music and summertime with a vintage theme. Expert bakers will be in attendance to provide demonstrations, and visitors can also get involved with activities such as a custard pie fight, cake decorating, vintage games or tea tasting. Live music performed by a brass band will evoke an ambience of bygone times, and children can also be kept entertained with hands-on baking activities.
