About Temple at War
This military show hosts over 600 authentic re-enactors, military vehicles, 1940s entertainment and the opportunity to browse collectors, traders and vendor stalls from all over the UK. Visitors can learn about the past 100 years of military history in more dimensions than a history book could possibly offer. A Temple at War Sniper will be featured along with other characters, who will be re-enacting the suppression of the enemy's advance. Battles will be re-created using pyrotechnic effects, and a range of military vehicles, equipment, weaponry and artefacts will be displayed. The 1940's girl group the Hotsie Totsies will perform with a dance group, and visitors can grab a bite to eat and visit some of the world's oldest timber-framed barns in this village-based setting.
