Wimbledon Rematch 1980: A Live Re-creation
This June tennis aficionados can relive the iconic Championships of 1980, including the heated Borg v McEnroe final, in a 70-minute live stage show featuring 3D projection, classic footage and an originally composed soundtrack. The immersive experience brings to life the times when Borg, McEnroe, Cawley, Evert and Connors were on top of the tennis world, the era when VCR was all the rage and Pac-Man had just come out. Live actors and period props will enrich the show, and guests can add to the atmosphere by wearing 80s fashion, grabbing a bite to eat from the retro street food stalls or enjoying an 80s video game or two.
