Must be 7 or older to for boulder and auto-belay induction course. Must be 16 or older for Introduction to Climbing session. Minimum age to include life registration to allow future visit is 16 years. In the boulder and auto-belay course, 18s or older may sign in two under 18’s as their guests, so they can continue to climb after the instructed session and assessments are complete. Rock climbing auto-belay and bouldering voucher includes complimentary registration for over 16's and can return at any time to climb; subject to standard admission cost. The bouldering and auto-belay course lasts 30 mins, after which, registered adults aged 18+ may continue climbing for as long as they wish. Not suitable for those with heart complaint or spinal injury. Please advise the instructor of any health concerns prior to the session. Max waist size for a safety harness is 52 inches. Loose-fitting sports clothing (not wide ankle). Reasonable general fitness required; if in doubt, please ask a doctor. Please note all equipment hire is provided and everyone is fully supervised by trained instructors. Step-free access not available. Valid Mon-Fri 11am-10pm, Sat and Sun 9am-6pm. Glasgow Climbing Centre has been providing adrenaline-fueled outdoor pursuits since its inception in 1994, and now has over 60,000 registered climbers. Set in a converted church, the venue caters for adventurers of all ages and abilities with its indoor and outdoor climbing, bouldering and abseiling opportunities. The Balcony Cafe keeps climbers refreshed with its range of sandwiches, coffees and smoothies.
