Get to grips with watercolour with this tried and tested course led by creative coach Kirsty Kennedy, founder of Go Create.

The course is aimed at complete beginners and those with some experience looking to touch up their skills or get back into a forgotten hobby.

During the morning, you'll get to trial different brushes and learn different techniques. You'll also be taken through a series of carefully devised exercises to help you fully appreciate how best to work with watercolours to achieve more effective results.

In the afternoon Kirsty will encourage students to put their new found knowledge to the test. Plants, still life objects and reference material will be on display to inspire. Kirsty will inspire with different watercolour approaches to support people of all abilities and coach to ensure that each student to support each student find their personal route into watercolour whether that simple illustrations, abstract or representative styles. More confident students are free to work on a project of their chose and can also receive guidance and support.

We provide a couple of good quality watercolour sheets and some smaller sample pieces. Feel free to bring an extra pad. Paints, brushes and other equipment is available for use.
