Storage instructions:
- The ham should never be stored inside the cotton cloth in which it is shipped
- The cotton cloth and grease-proof paper protecting the ham must be removed upon receiving the package
- The ham should be stored in a fresh, dry place and hung or set on the ham holder
- Once received, it is advised to begin consuming the ham in a period of 25 days
- Once started, it is advised to finish consuming the ham in a period of 15 days
- It is advised to monitor the piece from time to time and clean it off with a clean paper towel and possibly some olive or sunflower oil
SAN JAMÓN will not be responsible for the poor storage of the ham more than 30 days from receiving the package by the customer. Please consult SAN JAMÓN with any doubts, questions or comments.
It is a natural characteristic of this product for a small amount of mold to appear around the cut edge of this product. This should be removed by cutting through the exposed surface before serving.
