About This Deal
The Deal
This seven-course set menu (usually £75 per person) has been lovingly crafted to showcase the most delicate and delectable of all the offerings at JSW. Guests will begin with a carrot and parmesan soup before moving on to seafood such as spiced razor clams, mussles and cured salmon with a miso vinagrette. Meats include a trio of pork and lamb with a shallot puree, before a palate-cleansing peach and elderflower bellini makes way for the richness of a chocolate ganache. Those feeling especially flavoursome can also add a wine flight (£45 per person). A 50ml glass of wine is carefully selected to complement each dish, while a glass of Champagne makes for a bonus bubbly.

The Merchant
Blending Michelin star-worthy fine dining with the homely atmosphere of its 17th century coaching inn, JSW tantalises with creative cuisine designed to feel like home-cooking. The restaurant is the brainchild of Southampton-born Jake Sean Watkins, who's appeared on BBC 2's Great British Menu and cooked alongside the likes of Heston Blumenthal. Fish is sourced straight from the Solent, while lamb, beef and pork is carefully chosen from Cumbrian farms. Meanwhile, the rustic stylings of the dining area is complemented by a 900-strong wine cellar, and comfortably stuffed customers can even retire to one of the overnight rooms on site.
