The Kirklees Light Railway
The Kirklees Light Railway stretches out across the West Yorkshire greenery and offers views of the South Pennine foothills. Trips begin at Clayton West at selected times and run to and from the Shelley terminus. Both locations feature tearooms and children’s play areas. Clayton West is also home to a shop, while Shelley benefits from panoramic views of the surrounding area. Seasonally-themed events, parties and train driving experiences are held throughout the year.
