Lovers of fine dining can order £50 worth of food at La-Bourse in London for £25. Diners may feast upon dishes such as the large aged filet de boeuf (usually £32.50), whole grilled lobster (£19.50), seafood plateau (£22.50) and New York Sirloin (£26) whilst enjoying the restaurant's complex Parisian interior. La-Bourse's desserts include apple tatin (£7.50), sorbet fantasia (£7.50) and mousse a la coco (£7.50).
The Merchant
La-Bourse is dedicated to giving Londoners a taste of French cuisine. The staff are committed to giving visitors a fine dining experience to remember, and fresh produce seen in a window display is available to take away or consume at a quick turnaround bar. The articulate, intricate design of the restaurant's interior matches its culinary ambitions, and on the upper floor a grand piano hosts a live musician each night. The restaurant, unconventionally, benefits from having two head chefs, each with a very different vision and approach, but united by their love of French artistry in cooking. The establishment gives considerable credit to this fact as a driving force for its progression and the diversity of the cuisine on offer.
