The restaurant was co-founded by British actor and all-round local hero Sir Michael Caine, and the atmosphere reflects his laidback style. Warm welcomes and wholesome cuisine are served alongside a mish-mash of fine art, photographs and lampshades.
What kind of thing is on the menu?
It's good old-fashioned British cuisine with a few Gallic influences. A full breakfast menu includes things like a full English, or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. For lunch and dinner, there are daily speciality dishes like roast loin of pork or beef medallions, as well as everyday options like chargrilled swordfish or classic bangers and mash. There's also a list of desserts including a succulent treacle tart to finish dinners of in sweet style.
How about drinks?

Anyone who believes the long lunch is a thing of the past clearly hasn't been coming here. Langan's may have dropped off the radar for London's fickle foodies, but it's still a fine, fun lunch spot. And it obviously still has a very healthy fan base.
