While punts drift past on the Cam just outside, visitors to MPW Steakhouse can select a cup of tea from the premium Twinings range, whether humble English breakfast or intriguing honeycomb and camomile. Diners are also served a spread of miniature sweet and savoury morsels such as smoked salmon with cream cheese, Mediterranean vegetables, brownies and lemon tarts in baskets of sweet beetroot; these can be replenished free of charge, if desired. Finally, a glass of Prosecco adds a touch of effervescence to the occasion.
