About National Botanic Garden of Wales
Spread across 560 acres of picturesque Carmarthenshire countryside, the National Botanic Garden of Wales has been operating since May 2000. Guests can find a plethora of attractions on site, including themed gardens, the world's largest single span glasshouse designed by Lord Foster, as well as a butterfly house, play areas and a national nature reserve. The venue boasts an impressive collection of over 8,000 different varieties of plants, all gathered to allow visitors to learn more about plant evolution, the use of medicinal plants and the Garden's scientific research.
