Traditional, hearty dishes are given a contemporary makeover at No 4 Wood Street, where pairs can tuck in to a 24oz rib eye steak between them. Feasts will be flanked with triple-cooked chips, as well as onion rings, mushrooms, tomatoes and a sumptuous red wine sauce.
The Merchant
No 4 Wood Street is a hub of gourmet cuisine and culinary artistry, housed in a 200-year-old building and former malt house. Diners will be surrounded by original wooden beams and stone walls, as well as a statement stained glass feature. Head chef David Robbins whips up a menu of classic British and European flavours, while adding a little flavour creativity too.
