DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN ROVANIEMI

Arrival at Rovaniemi airport.

You will need to make your own transfer arrangements.

You'll be welcomed at the hotel by a local guide who will also assist you throughout your trip.

DAY 2 - SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE AND REINDEER SLEIGH RIDE

Finnish breakfast.

Head off for a wonderful day. You will immediately be immersed in the enchantment of Lapland as you set off for Santa Claus Village, located on the Arctic Circle. You will participate in a traditional crossing the arctic circle ceremony with a certificate.

Make your own lunch arrangements on-site.

After the ceremony, you will have time to explore the village at your own pace and meet the local star, Santa Claus, in his official residence. You can also go to Santa's post office to post a letter. You will have time to stroll through the various shops around this village and enjoy the magic of the location.

To round off the day, you will have the opportunity to experience a reindeer sleigh ride (1 km), rounded off with a nice hot drink around the fire.

Transfer back to your hotel. Make your own dinner arrangements.

DAY 3 - SLED DOGS AND RANUA WILDLIFE PARK (160 KM)

Finnish breakfast.

Departure for Ranua, where you will start off by exploring the sled dog farm and learning all about these arctic athletes. You will then head off on a mini-safari (3 km) in the company of the musher. You will then have time to take pictures of the dogs and ask the musher questions about what he does.

Make your own lunch arrangements on-site.

Next, you will have time to explore the northernmost zoo in the world and enjoy an invigorating walk in the open air, at your own pace, to admire the Arctic wildlife in its authentic, natural setting: elks, reindeer, wolves, Arctic foxes.... but most of all, the magnificent polar bears. A lovely visit offering the chance to discover and understand these animals that live in extreme conditions.

Free time for the gourmets to discover the famous Fazer Finnish chocolate shop.

DAY 4 - ROVANIEMI AND OVERNIGHT STAY IN A GLASS IGLOO

Finnish breakfast.

Free day to enjoy Rovaniemi and its surroundings at your own pace! Why not visit the beautiful Arktikum museum and learn more about the Sami, the native people of Lapland, or sign up for an optional activity. You could choose a snowmobile tour, for example. You might also decide to go shopping in town, or simply take an invigorating walk along the banks of the Ounasjoki River to enjoy the Lapland winter landscape. Ask your guide, he is there to help you enjoy Lapland to the fullest!

Make your own lunch arrangements.

In the late afternoon, get ready to enter a world of enchantment. Transfer to the igloo village and settle into your heated glass igloos, offering a view of the natural surroundings and the sky, while also being very comfortable.

Dinner and night in a glass igloo and, if the conditions allow, you will take in the magnificent spectacle of the Northern Lights from the warmth of your bed.

IDENTITY

Please be sure to verify that your necessary Identification documents (passport and/or ID card dependent upon the country to which you will be travelling) have valid expiration dates, i.e. verify your ID documents have not yet expired.
