With the help of a guide who lives within the community, this excursion will provide insight into the daily life of the favela, its history, and its social and economic challenges.

The climb up the Favela is done by motorbike taxi or van, and takes you first to the Mirador Rocinha to admire the magnificent view over the whole of the southern part of the city and the Corcovado. Afterwards, you'll walk back down the streets to discover local life. You'll visit the capoeira school, a social project for children, and an artist's workshop. An experience where you can share all your questions about life in a favela, far from the clichés and preconceived ideas.

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.

Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. IDENTITY
