This tour offers a unique opportunity to experience contrasting landscapes, from Marrakesh to the deserts of M'hamid. You'll visit Marrakech and its famous sites such as the Koutoubia mosque, then on to the "resting place" of Agdez on the old caravan route, and then to M'hamid to see the beauty of the Moroccan deserts. The tour will take you through the Erg Lihoudi camp, where you will have the opportunity to admire the impressive dunes, before concluding in Zagora, the historic starting point of the Saadian conquests.

Your detailed itinerary
Day 1 | Marrakech
Arrival in Marrakech.
On arrival at Marrakech Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.
A driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals exit, holding a sign with your name on it. It is important that you meet with them before leaving the pick-up area.
Free time to spend however you like.
Charming and enigmatic, Marrakech is a dynamic cultural experience with its rich historical heritage and vibrant contemporary scene.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 | Marrakech - M'Hamid - Erg Lihoudi
Breakfast at the hotel.
You will meet your driver at the hotel reception at around 8 a.m. The unmissable Tizi n'Tichka pass is the first stop on your journey. As you drive through this fascinating mountain landscape, you'll see a varied spectacle of cliffs and colours at every turn. The panoramic views continue on the road to Agdez, where you will stop for lunch. Later, cross the Drâa Valley and discover its immense palm grove and numerous kasbahs. Continue on to Zagora, then visit a pottery village and Tamgroute, the oldest Koranic library/school in the region. Continue on to M'hamid, a famous oasis in the heart of the Great Sahara. Meet a team of camel drivers and enjoy a fun 2-hour camel safari to the Erg Lihoudi tent camp at the foot of the dunes. Once you have settled into your tent, you will have the chance to admire the sunset over the dunes before being introduced to the nomadic lifestyle: a Berber team will invite you to help make dinner, bake bread and cook on the sands under the stars. Round off the day with an evening of traditional music, song and dance around the campfire.

Day 3 | Erg Lihoudi - Agdez - Marrakech

Day three begins early in the morning, when you'll rise before dawn to watch the sunrise over the desert, a wonderful opportunity to take some truly fascinating photographs. Then sit down for a leisurely breakfast before getting back on the camel for a genuine desert riding experience, from the Erg Lihoudi camp to your return to M'hamid where you will meet your transfer. After bidding farewell to the camels and Berbers, go once again through Zagora and the Drâa Valley. After lunch in Agdez, head for the magnificent heights of the High Atlas, where you'll find several Kasbahs and secret Berber villages. At the end of the day, you will be driven back to Marrakech.

Day 4 | Marrakech
Breakfast at the hotel.
You will be transferred to Marrakech Airport for your return flight.

Airport - hotel transfer
Collect your baggage, then go out to meet your driver, who will be waiting for you outside the airport, opposite the arrivals exit, with a sign bearing your name. Please do not leave the pick-up area without meeting the agent or driver.

What to bring for the tent camp: A large bag for your clothes, a small rucksack for the day, walking shoes, sandals, rainproof jackets, sun block, sunglasses, a camera, a torch, extra batteries, a toilet bag and other personal belongings.
Please note that when visiting religious or official buildings in Morocco, it is not permitted to wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or tight clothing. Shoes must be removed before entering a mosque or private home. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can come in very handy during your stay.

Good to know
If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis.
