Your detailed itinerary

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN MONTREAL

Arrival at the Montreal airport and pick up of your rental vehicle. Welcome to Canada!

Montreal is the second-largest French-speaking city after Paris: a city of contrasts with its historic Old Port and modern downtown. Explore the historic district of Old Montreal, named Ville Marie by the early settlers, the most charming part of the city. You will have the opportunity to visit the famous Place Jacques Cartier and the magnificent City Hall.

Continue to downtown and don't miss the Place Ville Marie observatory with its unique view of the city, 185 meters above ground, as well as another city quirk: an underground network of cafes, restaurants, and shops.

No meals. Overnight in Montreal.

DAY 2 - MONTREAL

Two other neighborhoods are highly recommended: the Quartier Latin and Mont Royal, with its Oratory of Saint Joseph and park, a magnificent 200-hectare urban green space. If you have time, we recommend visiting the Olympic Park, where you can enjoy a tour of the botanical garden, the Biodome, the Olympic Stadium, or the Insectarium.

No meals. Overnight in Montreal.

DAY 3 - QUEBEC

The city of Quebec is the capital of the province of Quebec and the oldest city in Canada. Behind its high stone walls, admire the star-shaped citadel and impressive fortifications. Make a stop at the Parliament before exploring the Old Port, Place Royale, and Petit-Champlain. A lunch or dinner at a traditional sugar shack is highly recommended. You will be introduced to the traditional art of maple syrup production before enjoying a memorable meal!

No meals. Overnight in Quebec City.

DAY 4 - QUEBEC

Don't miss visiting the impressive Montmorency Falls, a natural wonder that is higher than Niagara Falls. If you're not afraid of heights, you can even cross them on a zipline for an extraordinary memory.

No meals. Overnight in Quebec City.

DAY 5 - CHARLEVOIX

Designated a UNESCO biosphere reserve, the Charlevoix region is where the sea meets the mountains: steep cliffs, exceptional parks, impressive villas, and characterful villages nestled at the foot of hills or in peaceful coves.

Start your exploration with a visit to Baie-Saint-Paul. Founded over 350 years ago, it is one of the oldest and most charming towns in Quebec. Surrounded by the sea, mountains, and the great outdoors, Baie-Saint-Paul has long been a destination favored by artists and has largely preserved its cultural heritage, including houses over a century old. Stroll its narrow streets lined with quaint shops and art galleries before discovering the tranquility of its beach.

Continue your journey on Route 362. This part of the road is spectacular and known as the Route du Saint-Laurent, one of Canada's most beautiful scenic routes.

You will reach La Malbaie, where you can explore the beautiful Rue du Quai in Pointe-au-Pic or climb Chemin des Falaises to discover grand houses from the last century in an exceptional setting. Don't forget to visit the iconic Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu and explore the bike path along the river.

No meals. Overnight in Baie-Saint-Paul.

DAY 6 - CHARLEVOIX

The major attraction of the region is the beautiful Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie. The park was named after a series of valleys carved into a range of high mountains reaching over 1,000 meters in altitude. The steep slopes, natural beauty, and the unusual course of the Malbaie River make it an exceptional and unique site.

No meals. Overnight in Baie-Saint-Paul.

DAY 7 - SAGUENAY

Head towards Jacques-Cartier National Park. The park is home to a beautiful glacial valley, the Jacques-Cartier Valley, a spectacular channel about 600 meters deep where one of the most beautiful rivers in Quebec winds its way.

It is a true paradise for nature lovers where you can observe wildlife: moose, caribou, deer, wolves, foxes, river otters, and black bears. We recommend a traditional rabaska canoe ride.

Then explore the magnificent Saguenay Fjord National Park, a wonder of nature with 100 kilometers of hiking trails to admire this preserved region.

No meals. Overnight in Saguenay.

DAY 8 - SAGUENAY

If you wish to continue exploring wildlife, the Zoo sauvage de St-Félicien will meet your expectations. With 4.5 km of pedestrian pathways, 90 species, and 1000 animals, it is one of the largest zoos in Canada.

It is now time to step back in time by visiting the historic village of Val Jalbert. A true open-air museum, Val Jalbert is a re-creation of a 1920s village. It's a unique opportunity to experience life from the last century through an exciting journey, filled with immersive live shows.

No meals. Overnight in Saguenay.

DAY 9 - MAURICIE

Mauricie National Park is a wild region located in one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world, the southern Laurentians, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River. With 150 lakes and 536 km2 of forests inhabited by wild animals, it is an exceptional preserved area. Many activities are offered: kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, etc.

No meals. Overnight in Mauricie.

DAY 10 - MAURICIE

We recommend a guided tour with a professional guide to enjoy black bear watching in their natural habitat or a seaplane excursion to discover the natural beauty of the park from the sky.

You can also visit Trois-Rivières. Founded in 1634, it is the second oldest city in North America.

No meals. Overnight in Mauricie.

DAY 11 - OTTAWA

If you want to learn more about Canada's wildlife and flora, make a stop at Omega Park.

Continue on to Ottawa, the capital of Canada. You will enjoy visiting the Rideau Canal and the government buildings on Parliament Hill. Many other attractions are recommended: the ByWard Market, Embassy Row, Gatineau Park.

No meals. Overnight in Ottawa.

DAY 12 - THOUSAND ISLANDS

Today, you will visit a unique wonder of nature, the region of the Thousand Islands. This is a group of over 1,800 islands located in the St. Lawrence River, straddling the border between the United States and Canada.

The size of the islands varies, ranging from over 100 km2 to tiny plots of land occupied by just a small cabin. You will find highly elaborate island mansions, such as the German-inspired Boldt Castle on Heart Island and Singer Castle on Dark Island, with its Gothic windows and hidden passages.

We highly recommend embarking on a cruise.

No meals. Overnight in Kingston.

DAY 13 - TORONTO

Visit the most iconic landmark of Toronto: the CN Tower, the tallest tower in the Western Hemisphere, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Continue with visits to Chinatown, Kensington Market with its bohemian vibe, and the Eaton Centre with Yonge/Dundas Square, one of Canada's busiest and liveliest intersections.

For shopping enthusiasts, stroll along Bloor Street, Toronto's and Canada's most renowned shopping district.

For culture buffs, explore the Distillery District, known as Canada's premier arts, culture, and entertainment destination. These restored 19th-century Victorian industrial buildings now house unique shops, restaurants, and galleries.

No meals. Overnight in Toronto.

DAY 14 - TORONTO

We highly recommend a trip to Niagara Falls to discover a breathtaking site, counted among the Seven Wonders of the World. For an even more impressive experience, embark on a cruise to get closer to the falls and have a magical moment.

No meals. Overnight in Toronto.

DAY 15 - DEPARTURE FROM TORONTO

Depending on your flight schedule, drive to Toronto airport to return your rental vehicle and board your return flight. End of your Canadian journey.
