At the four-star Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort, you will stay in a Standard Garden View Room. During your safari, you will stay in a Standard Room in the various hotels.

More information

During the safari, you will be provided with a small bottle of mineral water per person per day of safari, a panoramic-sunroof equipped safari minibus vehicle driven by an English-speaking guide, and all park entrance fees and government taxes.

The trip arrangements and itinerary, as well as the accommodation provided during the safari, are subject to change depending on availability. Alternative lodge accommodation of a similar kind will be provided where necessary.

Upon your arrival at the hotel, our local representative will explain how the safari will be conducted and provide you with all the relevant date information.

1.5 day / 1 night safari to Tsavo East

DAY 1: Mombasa — Tsavo East (245 km/4 hrs)
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Tsavo West National Park (12,000 square kilometres). Once in the park, the driver will open the roof of your bus, so you can stand up and feel the air of the savanna. Welcome to Africa, the safari has begun! Keep your eyes peeled and you could see large herds of buffalo, elephants, zebras and impalas. Masai giraffes and hippos also roam Kenya's largest national park. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, where you can enjoy some free time so you can relax before leaving for your afternoon safari. DAY 2: Tsavo East - Mombasa (240 km/4 hrs)

You will be driven to the safari site by bus. The safari will be conducted in a minibus for a maximum of six people with a local driver-guide.

Tips for guides are not included, please allow approximately €5-6 per day/person.

Good to know

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.

Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Transportation

IDENTITY

Please be sure to verify that your necessary Identification documents (passport and/or ID card dependent upon the country to which you will be travelling) have valid expiration dates, i.e. verify your ID documents have not yet expired.
