KANDIMA MALDIVES

Just a 30-minute flight and 15-minute boat ride from Malé airport, the Kandima Maldives 5* (local standards) welcomes guests to Dhaalu atoll, a 3 km-long island nestled between lagoon and lush nature. The resort features studios and villas overlooking the Indian Ocean. During your stay, you'll indulge in the many restaurants and bars. You'll succumb to the pleasure of a siesta by the Maldives' largest swimming pool. And to complete the experience, don't hesitate to take a break at the spa.



Practical information:
  • Whether your stay includes a flight or not, the following transfers are included:
  • Airport - hotel - airport transfers by domestic flight and speedboat
  • Travel time by domestic flight is 35 minutes from Velana airport in Malé to Dhaalu airport, followed by 10 to 15 minutes by speedboat.
  • The transfer operator may change its flight schedule and consequently the duration of the transfer without prior notice and excluding any stops due to weather and operational conditions.
  • **You also have the option of choosing a seaplane transfer at an additional cost
  • Travel time from Velana airport to the island is 40 minutes.
  • The round-trip airport/hotel seaplane transfer (optional) is scheduled for arrival or departure between 06:00 and 15:00. After these times, transfers cannot be provided and you will have to spend a night on Male Island at your own expense.
  • For people booking the "hotel only" package (without international flight), please let us know your flight details as soon as possible via the contact form in "Help and contact" at the bottom of the page, so that we can organize your transfers.
  • The baggage allowance is 25 kg per person. Any additional kilos will be charged locally

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.

Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Transportation

In order to best organise your time in the airport, we advise that you arrive 2 hours before boarding for a medium-haul flight, or 3 hours before boarding for a long-haul flight (more than 5 hours). Take advantage of your early arrival to pass through security and check your luggage.

IDENTITY

Please be sure to verify that your necessary Identification documents (passport and/or ID card dependent upon the country to which you will be travelling) have valid expiration dates, i.e. verify your ID documents have not yet expired.
