Your detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Nairobi airport you will be met for your transfer to your hotel. Settle in at the hotel. Welcome to Kenya!
Overnight stay at the four-star Azure Airport Hotel on a breakfast-included package.
Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park (250km/4h)
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a short briefing from your driver-guide, then departure to Amboseli National Park. Settle into the AA Amboseli Lodge and enjoy dinner there. In the afternoon, you will leave for a safari with the stunning Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. You will see magnificent landscapes with acacia forests and plenty of wildlife. Dinner at the lodge.
Overnight stay at the four-star AA Lodge Amboseli (or similar) on a full-board basis.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park
Breakfast at the camp before departing with your picnic lunch for a full day's safari in Amboseli National Park. Return to the camp at sunset. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 4: Amboseli - Lake Nakuru National Park (405km/5h)
Breakfast at the camp before leaving for Lake Nakuru National Park. Picnic lunch on the way. Arrival in the park and photo safari en route. Settle in at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Late afternoon, you will leave for another safari until sunset. At this National Park, classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site, you will go on a photo safari in the afternoon where one of the must-sees is the salt lake, where thousands of pink flamingos have taken up residence. You will discover an array of animal species, such as leopards, antelopes, Rothschild's giraffes, hippos, and white and black rhinos strolling around the lake. The forests of euphorbias and yellow acacias add to this majestic spectacle. Dinner at the lodge.
Overnight stay at the four-star Lake Nakuru Lodge (or similar) on a full-board basis.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve (315km/5h)
Breakfast at the lodge before driving to the Masai Mara National Reserve through the Rift Valley. You will travel through the typically East African landscapes of savannah, hills, escarpments and swamps. It is in this national reserve (which turns into a real spectacle during the great migration) that from July onwards you'll get to see wildebeest, zebras and gazelles that have left the Serengeti Park in Tanzania. You'll see lots of animals together at this time of year, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, spotted hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, etc. Check-in and lunch at the AA Masai Mara Lodge. In the afternoon you will leave for another photo safari until sunset. Dinner at the lodge.
Overnight stay at the four-star AA Masai Mara Lodge (or similar) on a full-board basis.
Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve
First go on a morning photo safari, then head back to the lodge for breakfast. Second photo safari in the morning. Lunch at the camp, free time, then another safari in the afternoon until sunset. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 7: Masai Mara - Departure from Nairobi
After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Nairobi. Arrive for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant, famous for its grilled meat, then transfer to the airport to catch your evening flight home. End of the safari.

Day of arrival and welcome: Upon exiting the aircraft, you will proceed through the immigration offices, where your visa will be inspected. You will then be able to collect your luggage. On your way out, a local SawaSawa Africa representative will be waiting for you in uniform with a sign bearing your name.
Hotel-only package: For people booking the "hotel-only" package (without international flight), please let us know your flight details as soon as possible via the contact form in "Help and Contact" at the bottom of the page, so that we can organise your transfers. Flights must arrive before noon on day 1 and depart after 6 p.m. on day 7, so that you can take full advantage of the tour.
Please note: as indicated, all accommodation is rated 4-star according to local standards. The services provided may not be equivalent to 4-star European standards.
The order of visits may be modified for logistical reasons.
Visa: Please be advised that an e-visa application must be submitted prior to departure. This can be completed via the Kenyan government's official website. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. Once you've applied for an e-visa, you'll need to wait up to 4 working days to receive it. We advise that you print the e-visa and present it upon arrival in Kenya.
Good to know
If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

IDENTITY
