Your detailed itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Kenya

You will be met on arrival at Mombasa airport and transferred to the Severin Sea Lodge, located on the north side of Bamburi beach, around 30 minutes from Mombasa airport.

Overnight stay in Mombasa at the four-star Severin Sea Lodge (or similar) on a half-board dinner basis.

Day 2: Safari in Tsavo East National Park (205km/4h)

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel in a 4x4 Landcruiser and taken to Tsavo Eest National Park. There will be a stop en route to Tsavo. Arrival in the park around noon. Guided safari en route to the camp. Arrival and lunch at Satao Camp. You'll have some free time to relax at the camp before heading out on your afternoon safari. You will return to the lodge at sunset.

Overnight stay at the Satao Camp (or similar) on a full-board basis.

Day 3: Safari in Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, you will leave for a morning and afternoon safari in the park. Tsavo East is the largest park in Kenya. It is well known for its red elephants, lions and hugely diverse wildlife. Enjoy watching the sunset in the bush.

Overnight stay at the Satao Camp (or similar) on a full-board basis.

Day 4: En route to Diani Beach (320km/5h)

After breakfast, you will head to your beach hotel for a late afternoon check-in. Settle in at the Severin Sea Lodge for a 4 or 6-night stay.

Nights at the four-star Diani Sea Resort are on an all-inclusive basis.

Satao Camp

Satao Camp is located in the heart of Tsavo East National Park, providing a unique, unforgettable African experience surrounded by wildlife. The camp is a true oasis that attracts thousands of animals. The comfortable, all-mod-con accommodation is perfectly integrated into the surrounding wilderness.

The camp has 20 spacious and comfortable tents with terraces, ideal for observing the spectacle put on by the wildlife. The tents are nestled among the tamarind trees surrounding the camp's watering hole and are carefully positioned to provide uninterrupted views of the wildlife, while still ensuring complete privacy.

All the tents are beautifully furnished in a unique African style. Satao Camp tents are designed and adapted to accommodate people with disabilities. They are also large enough to accommodate additional beds.

During the safari, you will be provided with welcome and assistance; a panoramic open-top private 4x4 Land Cruiser during the safari with an English, French or German-speaking driver-guide; park admission fees; and government taxes.

If you are due to arrive on a night flight, you will spend an extra night in Mombasa.

The holiday itinerary and safari accommodation may need to be changed in the event of unavailability, in which case similar accommodation will be provided as a replacement.

Good to know

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.

Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
