1.5 day / 1 night safari to Tsavo East

DAY 1: Mombasa — Tsavo East (245 km/4 hrs)
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Tsavo West National Park (12,000 square kilometres). Once in the park, the driver will open the roof of your bus, so you can stand up and feel the air of the savanna. Welcome to Africa, the safari has begun! Keep your eyes peeled and you could see large herds of buffalo, elephants, zebras and impalas. Masai giraffes and hippos also roam Kenya's largest national park. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, where you can enjoy some free time so you can relax before leaving for your afternoon safari. You will return to the lodge at sunset. the lodge at sunset.

DAY 2: Tsavo East - Mombasa (240 km/4 hrs)
Early breakfast at the lodge then departure for the morning safari. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel.

Safari - 2.5 days/2 nights in Tsavo West and Tsavo East

DAY 1: Mombasa - Tsavo West (229 miles/5 h)
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Tsavo West National Park (4633 sq mi). Once in the park, the driver will open the roof of your bus, so you can stand up and feel the wind in your hair. Welcome to Africa, the safari has begun! Look out for great herds of buffalo, elephants, zebras and impala. Masai giraffes and hippos also roam Kenya's largest national park. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, where you can enjoy some relaxing free time before setting off on your afternoon safari. Return to the lodge at sunset.
Overnight stay at Ngulia Safari Lodge (or similar) on a full-board basis.

DAY 2: Tsavo West - Tsavo East
Morning safari in the park before breakfast. Then depart for Tsavo East National Park. The road to Tsavo East gives you a good opportunity to observe the many wild animals in the savannah. You will arrive at the lodge for lunch. Later on in the afternoon, enjoy a safari in the park before returning to the lodge at sunset.
Overnight stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge (or similar) on a full-board basis.

DAY 3: Tsavo East - Mombasa (126 miles/4 h)
Morning safari in the park before heading back to your hotel for a late afternoon arrival.

Further information

Included during the safari: welcoming and assistance, a safari minibus with a panoramic sunroof and a window seat during the safari, and an English, French or German-speaking driver-guide. Entrance fees and government taxes are also included.

If you arrive on a night flight, you will stay an additional night in Mombasa.

Please note that your safari will take place during your stay at the hotel. You will have to check out of the hotel before leaving for the safari. We advise you to bring a separate bag for the safari; your suitcase will be placed in the luggage storage area by the hotel's concierge service.

Transport to the safari site is by bus but safaris are in a minibus with a maximum of 6 people with an English, French or German driver/guide as needed.

Tips for guides are not included, please plan about £4 per person per day.

Good to know

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.

Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. IDENTITY
