Suitable for a birthday activity, girls’ night out or stag do, this cocktail masterclass will see groups of up to 20 (usually £30 per person) head down to this chic bar in Mill Lane for some coaching. After a welcome drinks and some canapés they’ll pick three cocktails from a diverse menu for a resident mixologist to make. After watching the expert at work, they’ll have a go at making and tasting their own creations. The session will last 60-90 minutes, and can take place Sunday to Friday.

The Merchant

Located on Cardiff’s Mill Lane, Pitch Bar & Eatery serves up an array of traditional Welsh cuisine using locally-sourced produce. The kitchen whips up a selection of brunches, light snacks, small plates, and a host of meaty grills including 8oz steaks. The restaurant also hosts cocktail masterclasses, lasting up to 90 minutes and suitable for birthdays, stag and hen dos. It stays open until 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and until 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
