Film fanatics can take advantage of a year-long membership to QFT, earning them a £2.50 discount on all tickets as well as two complimentary tickets. Members will be privy to exclusive meal deals at selected local restaurants, free tea and coffee refills at the QFT bar, and invitations to the QFT Christmas and Summer parties. Film-goers will also get a sneak-peak of the QFT programme every month via email before it comes out.

A popular independent cinema at Queen’s University, Queen’s Film Theatre screens the latest movies as well as a wide selection of classic film, documentary and short film. The doors opened in 1968 with a screening of Louis Malle’s ‘Viva Maria!’. Since then, the theatre has built a reputation for screening international films and hosting special guests such as film makers and performers.
Screenings span everything from arthouse films to more commercial Hollywood blockbusters, and the venue also champions a variety of foreign language features. A range of training workshops are available, including film talks and discussions, special screenings and short courses for all ages. The various screening rooms, foyer and seminar room are also available for hire.
