Delivered straight to customers' doors, these boxes (usually £13.45 per box) full of organic vegetables help to bring the elusive seven-a-day within reach. Each medium box typically contains several potatoes, carrots and onions, accompanied by a seasonally specific mix of five other types of vegetable. The boxes are delivered on three consecutive weeks or fortnights, as preferred.

The Merchant
Riverford Organic Farms is an enterprise dedicated to making organic produce as widely and readily available as possible. A regular delivery service and an online shop send vegetables, meat, bread and other food and drink items directly to customers' homes. The company sources produce from its own farms in Devon, Peterborough, Yorkshire and Hampshire, which visitors are welcome to come and wander around. The Devon farm is also home to Riverford's Field Kitchen restaurant.

Booking: Required by phone Mon-Sat 9am-5.30pm. Credit/debit card details required to set up account. 36-hour cancellation policy.
Restrictions: New Customers Only. Must be 18 or older. After three boxes have been delivered you will automatically continue getting weekly or fortnightly deliveries unless you cancel by e mail or through your account with at least 36 hours’ notice before your next delivery day.
