Hungry carnivores can chow down to their hearts’ content on some quality meats at Rodizio Rico, complemented by an exotic caipirinha cocktail. First, a dedicated passador, or carver, will come to the table with skewers of various fodder to choose from including leg of lamb, rump steak, picanha, spare ribs, sausages and chicken wings (usually £25). Diners can accompany the main with all-you-can-eat salad or pasta from the buffet, and satisfy their thirst with a caipirinha cocktail (£6.10), or alternative beer, wine or soft drink.

The Merchant

Rodizio Rico Birmingham is part of an all-you-can-eat Brazilian family that spreads its restaurant wings across London and Birmingham. The churrascaria experience is based on that of authentic Brazilian eateries, where a medley of meats are brought to the table by a carver who returns time and again with more skewers of barbecued options. Exotic salads and Brazilian hot dishes offer a little balance to the dining plate, and customers can make their way through a cocktail list and even pick from desserts if they have space left. The Birmingham eatery is based inside The Cube, the city’s commercial landmark.
