Our instructors will get you on the water safely and teach you everything you need to know to get paddling around confidently. Well teach you how to paddle, how to get on (and off) the water, and you'll learn how to control the kayak. The tour is led by a professionally qualified British Canoeing Instructor.
You'll be on the water for over 30 minutes but allow up to an hour for the full session which includes kitting up, safety briefing and instructions.
Any participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied on the water by an adult.
You don't need any kayaking experience, specialist clothing or equipment but a basic level of fitness (walking up the stairs without being out of breath) will ensure you can enjoy our kayak experience.
All kayaks, paddles and safety equipment are provided. You must wear a buoyancy aid, regardless of your swimming ability, so you'll be safe if you fall in. Sit back, paddle and have fun!

Must be 8 or older. All participants should ensure that they are in good health; if in doubt, please consult a GP. Safety equipment included. Appointment required, contact by email at bookings@roundhousebirmingham.org.uk; provide Groupon code. Present Groupon on arrival. Subject to weather. Must sign waiver. Must wear weather-appropriate clothes. Must wear sensible footwear. If the experience is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or for technical reasons, merchant will offer an alternative date.
