The Deal

Three sliders stuffed with beef, lamb and pulled pork or an avocado, mozzarella and parma ham salad are just two of the potential choices to kick start a three-course blowout at the Roxy. A rack of BBQ ribs with chips and coleslaw or pork belly with mash, braised savoy cabbage and apple compote with Calvados jus may follow as the main course. Three likely desserts include freshly made crêpes with dark chocolate, apple crumble or a chocolate brownie all served with custard or various ice cream flavours. Screenings will be the visual fourth-course with potential viewings of independent short films, international cinema plus sporting events such as the Champions League.

The Merchant

Roxy Bar and Screen is a highlight on Borough High Street where fine cuisine is coupled with a night in the glorious back-room cinema. The venue hosts a range of screenings in the back room including sporting events, European animated series’ plus short films. Interactive pub quizzes are also per the norm in the cinema room. Based just minutes from Borough underground station, the bar stocks a varied range of beers, wines and spirits whilst the kitchen conjures up a range of delectable dishes. Private hire is possible for parties, launches and cultural events plus a membership can be purchased with special entitlements included.
