Connoisseurs of wine can explore the nearby East Sussex woodlands to their hearts’ content before ambling around Sedlescombe’s three vineyards, the oldest of which dates back over 35 years. The tour then moves on to the winery, where a guide will lead visitors through the wine-making process, before they have a chance to sample some of the finished product in the ‘Barn Bistro’. Trips will be rounded off with a choice of ploughman’s lunch or afternoon cream tea. Deluxe versions add a sophisticated twist, with bottles of 2014 red or 2015 white wine to take home as well as upgraded lunch options.

About Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard
Since planting their first vines in 1979, the family-owned and operated Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard have prided themselves on producing international award-winning English organic and biodynamic red, white, sparkling and rose wines across their 22-acre site. These have featured in such publications as the Times and BBC TV. Biodynamic agriculture follows organic principles, shuns chemical inputs and incorporates lunar and cosmic rhythms into the timing of the applications. They produce in the range of 20,000 bottles annually.
