Afternoon tea sees groups of two or four savour post-meridiem delicacies in green-fingered surrounds. Traditional treats include a scone each accompanied by cream and jam, as well as sandwiches sporting fillings such as tuna, cheese, ham or egg. Fare is served with a warming cup of tea or coffee each, with a latte or cappuccino available for a 50p surcharge. Once appetites are satisfied, visitors can make the most of a 10% discount on purchases made in the centre on the day.

The Merchant

At a verdant Maghull location, Sefton Meadows Garden Centre stocks a wide range of flora, indoor and outdoor furnishings and gifts. Clothing, pets supplies and aquatics also abound. Rosie’s Garden Restaurant serves a range of hot and cold meals and snacks, produced using local ingredients.
