The Deal
Adrenaline junkies can soar to new heights with a full safety and flight briefing before their light aircraft flying experience. Aspiring pilots will receive tuition by a qualified instructor during their dedicated flying time and will get a chance to take the controls for up to ten minutes. Guests will be issued with a certificate of their flight and can take away an aerial souvenir photograph of Netherthorpe Airfiled.
The Merchant
Sheffield Aero Club at Netherthorpe sits on the borders of South Yorkshire, North East Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. They offer flying experience packages, pilot training and IMC training, aircraft hire, aerobatic training and experience flights and more. The flying club is steeped in history and guests can learn about the covert operation of Netherthorpe during 1939-1945 while attending their lessons or experience.
