The Deal
Owlerton Greyhound Stadium welcomes two guests (usually up to £5 each) with racecards and £2 worth of bets each, split between a race and a lucky dip. Race nights see up to 16 races, during which visitors can enjoy two drinks each (up to £3.20 per drink), whether a bottle of Coors Light, a 125ml glass of wine, or a small soft drink. Each visitor will also receive a jumbo hotdog (£2.80) to tuck into.
The Merchant
Sheffield's Owlerton Greyhound Stadium has a range of facilities and hosts dog racing, speedway and stock cars. The Panorama Restaurant allows guests to enjoy all the action from some of the best seats in the house, while five executive boxes are available for private hire, offering dining with an elevated view of the track. The stadium was built in 1929 and, following a £3 million refurbishment, has a capacity of 4,000 people.
