The Deal
Skiing/snowboarding beginners’ course
- Lasts approximately six hours and is run over the course of two days
- Suitable for ages seven and above
- Choice of level 1 and 2 standard
Kids skiing course
- Introduces kids to the basics of the sport
- Helps to develop plough-steering skills
- Ten-week course, starts on 15 or 22 February
- Suitable for ages four to six

The Merchant
Silksworth Sports Centre’s instructors teach skiing and snowboarding on three dry slopes. Learners as young as four years old can take to the ‘snow’, with two nursery slopes for little ones and newcomers. Meanwhile, more advanced skiers and snowboarders can enjoy recreational skiing on the 165m flood-lit slope, and snow tubes provide a non-ski or board alternative.

Purchase: Limit 1 per person. Max 12 people per Ski beginner course class. Max 8 people per Snowboarding beginner and Kinder classes. May buy 1 additional as gift.

Restrictions: Classes subject to availability. Skiiing/Snowboarding beginners classes suitable for 7 or older only. Kinder course suitable for 4-6 years old. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Valid for beginners. Dress code restrictions apply, must wear long sleeves and trousers, gloves are essential. Must sign waiver. Equipment provided with the exception of helmets, please bring your own if required. In the event of weather restrictions session will be reschedules asap. Classes must be taken consecutively. Valid on option purchased only.
