Fine Print
Must be 10 or older. £9 surcharge for each additional spectator, payable directly to the merchant (entry for 1 spectator complimentary). Persons under 16 must be accompanied by guardian. 48-hour cancellation notice required. 24-hour advance notice required. Appointment required, contact online at merchant's website; provide Groupon code. Present Groupon on arrival. * Max weight: 18 stone 10lb (120kg). It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure their weight is checked and below the max allowance before the date of the dive experience. The max weight restriction has been put in place to ensure the health and safety of both our customers and supervising staff in the event of any emergency.
* Depth restriction of 2 metres may apply for any participant not showing the required confidence to conduct the experience. These depth restrictions, if applied, do not affect the experience.
* Customers are required to fill out a medical declaration to confirm their fitness for the experience and sign a digital registration form. This is available to view here.
* No previous experience is required, although confidence in the water is essential. A digital lesson that will be carried out via an online e-learning link will need to be completed prior to arrival.
* All participants will be videoed during the experience and will have the option to purchase a video link of the experience. The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary.
* There will be a 15-minute to don a wetsuit and boots, followed by a 15-minute briefing, then an equipment/equalisation workshop will take place before the participants undertake a breath-taking dive for a maximum of 40 minutes inside the ocean display. Please allow up to 2 hours for the full experience, and a full day exploring the aquarium. Wetsuits, boots and all equipment will be provided on the day.
* Participants must bring swimwear, a towel, and shower products. Customers will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
Valid Tue, Thu (weekday slots), Sat and Sun (weekend slots) 9am and 3pm. Excluded dates/times may apply. At the discretion of the dive team, more spaces may be made available to meet demand. About Skegness Aquarium
Located on Skegness seafront, Skegness Aquarium brings together pirate adventures and amazing animals for an exciting family day out. It plays host to a diverse range of tropical sea life including rays, seahorses and sharks. Guests can follow the iconic story of Treasure Island throughout this award-winning aquarium and dive with sharks, having a rare opportunity to roam among the fish. Younger kids are well catered for with face painting and a soft play area. In The Wet Lab, visitors can stroke the creatures in touch pool sessions and learn about the British seaside. After one of the daily interactive talks at the Aqua Theatre, families can enjoy lunch at the Bistro, overlooking some glorious sea views.
