The Deal
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas as South Lakes Wild Animal Park is transformed into a winter wonderland with trees, lights, a skating rink, donkeys and a full-size nativity. With the upcoming visit from Santa, his elves and reindeer in the calendar, children can enjoy exclusive entry to the park before general opening time and sit down for a buffet breakfast. During breakfast Santa will chat to all the tables, with kids getting the chance to meet him personally afterwards to receive their gift and have a photo taken. They can help the keepers feed the reindeer before going on to learn about all the other animals from around the world in the zoo. The ticket also includes a skate session and night safari should the kids not want to leave the zoo until closing.

South Lakes Wild Animal Park houses animals from Africa and Asia to South America and Australia. Visitors can interact with the likes of lemurs and walk through the aviary to encounter vultures among other birds. The park is open every day from 10am to 5pm and there is the opportunity to enjoy a night safari after that.
