The Deal

Sunday lunchtime can see up to six guests selecting a choice of starter and main between midday and 3pm at St Ives' Surf and Turf. As the restaurant name would suggest, gatherings from the sea such as pan-fried squid with lime caramel, fennel, jalapeno and pea shoot salad (usually £6) or prawn and crayfish cocktail (£6.50) can be combined with land-based meats. Roast lunches can come in the form of lamb with red wine and chorizo pie, roast potatoes and vegetables (£9), or roast pork or beef with all the trimmings (£11.95). Meals will be complemented by a hot drink from a menu listing double espresso (£2), mocha (£3) and variety of teas (£2). Customers can choose to upgrade to a seafood special main for a supplement of £5 each.
