A two-course meal at The Bellstone may begin with a starter such as soup of the day (usually £5.75), chicken, rabbit and wild garlic terrine (£7) or poached ballotine of salmon (£6.50). For the main course, diners may tuck into slow-braised shoulder of lamb with crushed jersey royal potatoes, spring greens and salsa verde (£15.50), Scottish mussels in thai red curry broth with a coconut brioche and sweet potato chips (£13.50) or spinach, mushroom and artichoke linguini with arrabbiata sauce and pecorino (£12.75). Patrons can stay refreshed with a glass of house wine each (£4).
