This lavish lunch or dinner is available seven days a week at The Crazy Bear’s English restaurants in Stadhampton, Oxfordshire and Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. 125g Chateaubriand is served with grilled balsamic glazed cherry tomatoes on the vine, portabello mushroom, watercress and bernaise sauce, plus a 250g half lobster served Americaine or Thermidor with a fresh herb salad and chardonnay vinaigrette. Alternatively diners can choose a 250g Chateaubriand or 500g whole lobster instead of surf and turf, with vegetarian options also available. The Crazy Bear’s Aberdeen Angus beef comes from Oxfordshire herds, is at least 24 months old, and is dry-aged at The Crazy Bear Farm Shop. Native lobsters are caught in sustainably managed British waters. This luxurious meal is complemented with a glass of Pere et Fils Champagne worth £19.95.
