About This Deal

- Get onboard the top deck of one of the last ex-BA 747-400s to be removed from service.
- Preserved at City Airport, Barton, Manchester, The Deck gives you the chance to see the original interior including seating, toilets, cockpit, and flight crew bunks
- Sit in the left or right seat and land anywhere in the world guided by one of the highly experienced instructors
- Choose what the experience includes: take offs | cruising | landings | specific airports | emergency scenarios
- Due to the distance from the seat to the rudder pedals and control column, the instructor may need to assist with some of the flight controls if required
- Tickets include one guest, but two more can be booked directly with the merchant
- Please be advised that due to limitations of space within the cockpits and aircraft, any persons attending must be able to walk in and sit down in the front cockpit seat unaided
- As some of the simulations are set in real aircraft cockpits and due to the complexities around using real aircraft cockpit components, it is set up to be as enjoyable to fly as possible whilst maintaining as much of the realism of the flight controls - and that its not too complex either. With this in mind you may notice that some of the actual flying processes may be missed for certain scenarios- but the full experience will be talked through by your instructor if you wish to know more information

Fine Print
Must be 10 or older. Persons under 16 must be accompanied by guardian. Appointment required, contact by email at Info@doors2manual.org; provide Groupon code. Present Groupon on arrival. Please be advised that due to limitations of space within the cockpits and aircraft, any persons attending must be able to walk in and sit down in the front cockpit seat unaided. Children aged 7 and over may be one of the additional people who accompany you however they must sit in one of the rear seats. Customers who arrive with children under 7 will be refused entry to the flight sim. This ticket includes 1 additional guest to accompany you on the experience. Whilst time may allow for them to have a small go at flying, each experience is designed around one person at the controls for the majority of the session. We do not have space for any other people to wait in the hangar whilst the simulation is taking place. Merchant allows to bring up to three additional people in total, but the two remaining guests must be purchased and booked directly with them, if desired. Expires 4 months after purchase.
