The Lancaster Spirits Company spirits are grain-to-glass super premium products that reflect the craftsmanship accrued from decades of brewing the finest award-winning ales in the UK.

Our handmade gin and vodka are bespoke products painstakingly designed by selecting the finest malted barley, wheat and rye grown in England. Mashing processes developed specifically to extract precise ester profiles for each spirit are then fermented using our unique 200-year- old yeast to coax out the rich complexity that distinguishes them from mass-produced products.

Our spirits are distilled no less than three times on our custom-designed copper still Rose. Steam heated to a precise distillation rate ensures the end product captures every essence of the raw materials. They are rested patiently to allow the new-make spirit to slowly adjust before bottling.

Our Firecracker gin expresses the profile of 17 botanicals carefully selected from four continents. Juniper berries from mountainside outcrops are beaten from bushes with sticks and collected by hand. Orange peel is stripped in ribbons and hung out on wires to naturally dry in the Spanish sun. Our botanicals are mostly produced by indigenous communities whose farming methods have remained unchanged since antiquity.

Every component of our spirits has received the same attention. Even the Lancaster water, drawn from our own artesian aquifer which gives our ales such distinctive quality, has been adjusted to create the crispness of our gins, or the rich, lingering mouthfeel of our whisky.

Only by carefully controlling every step of the brewing and distilling process can you provide the attention to detail of a true craft product. The difference becomes apparent when you lift the glass to your lips.
