About This Deal
Families of up to five can say hello to the deer, rabbits, and hedgehogs at Tiggywinkles, as well as witnessing some of the daily tasks involved in looking after the animals. The centre is open every day from 10am to 4pm and children's activities such as arts and crafts are also held on-site.

What is Tiggywinkles?
It's a specialist hospital for injured animals of all shapes and sizes, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating British wildlife and treating over 10,000 animals every year free of charge.
What's the visitor centre like?
It includes all manner of information and videos on the history of the sanctuary, as well as a trail around the pond, deer paddocks and gardens; a sanctuary area that gives wild animals a chance to live a near-natural, but protected life.
What kind of animals can visitors see in the sanctuary?
The sanctuary is home to giving everything from fluffy ducklings and shy hedgehogs to broad-soaring red kites and inquisitive deer. Amphibians can splash around in the bog pond, while a butterfly garden and aviaries host winged residents.
How can visitors get involved?
Tiggywinkles runs a range of one day workshops including Wildlife First Aid, Bird of Prey Ecology, Fox Ecology and Hedgehog Ecology, along with Wildlife Keeper Experiences. Those seeking to get really stuck in can also enrol on animal care diploma courses to help with the centres good work.
