About This Deal
The Gardens
Gravelled pathways lead visitors around 30 acres of woodland gardens in pursuit of colourful plants, rare shrubs and woodland glades. Meaning ‘house of the trees’, Trewithen is home to botanical delights from all corners of the globe, as well as 20 champion trees, named so for being the largest or widest of their kind in Britain. Various garden areas bring visitors into contact with a wide selection of plants, sculptures and interactive activities. Viewing platforms overlook floral canopies, while the gardens feature over 300 Cornish-bred varieties of plants including daffodils and scillas. Open seven days a week, access to the gardens is free for children under 12 years, while visitors can also take advantage of a bevy of light lunches and refreshments in the on-site cafe.
