York Bird Of Prey Center is home to over 80 Stunning Birds Of Prey. Including owls, vultures, hawks, falcons and even eagles! We pride ourselves on giving a HANDS ON EXPERIENCE here so we have an exciting daily program which includes flying demonstrations, regular educational talks, and the opportunity to handle our birds throughout the day.
We offer one to one experience packages which gives customers an experience they will never forget, we are also available for outside events such as school visits, weddings and other functions. Sponsorship packages are also available for all of our birds, and we do run several special events throughout the season such as car shows, and photography days!
Please note we are disabled accessible, we have an onsite cafe serving cold food and hot drinks, unfortunately dogs are not allowed on site. We are also closed on Tuesdays and would also close in severe rain and wind.

At York Bird Of Prey Center we have a passion for the birds and ensuring our human visitors have a great time. We have a hands on ethos which is second to none (we are not aware of any other Center which gives you this), and you are welcome to handle the birds with the assistance of a member of our staff. Please also join in with flying the birds during the 3 flying shows we have each day at 11:30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm. (Times may be subject to change slightly due to bird welfare).
In our shop you will find a wide selection of sandwiches, cakes, soft drinks, ice creams, ice lollies and also tea & coffee, so stay for the day and enjoy all the Centre has to offer.
We also have a 9 hole mini-golf course which is free to play.
The Centre is located 4 miles south of Easingwold & 12 miles north of York in the walled garden of Burn Hall Hotel. Please park in the Hotel car park and then follow the signs down the path to the Centre.
Please note that smoking is not allowed in the Center.
