About Whitehead Railway Museum
Whitehead Railway Museum was established by The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland. The museum opened its doors in 2017 offering visitors a unique range of experiences - customers can step onto a footplate of an 1879 steam locomotive, dress up in period costume and hear the story of how the railway developed Whitehead. Don't forget to visit the Edwardian Tea Room for morning coffee, freshly cooked lunch or afternoon tea.
